Acupuncture Treatment Process

Dr. Huang's treatment approach is rooted in the core principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine while integrating modern clinical understanding.

1

TCM Diagnosis and Constitution Assessment

Dr. Huang creates a treatment plan based on your condition and explains the general treatment areas for acupuncture.

2

Needle Insertion

Dr. Huang uses sterile disposable needles (or strictly sterilized tools) and inserts them at specific depths into selected acupoints.

3

Needle Manipulation

Dr. Huang gently moves or rotates the needles, which may create sensations such as soreness, tingling, heaviness, or distention.

4

Needle Removal

After approximately 20 minutes of retention, Dr. Huang removes the needles. Most patients feel little to no discomfort. A mild residual ache or fullness may occur in some people and is a normal acupoint response that usually fades quickly.
